Recruiting New Members for Advisory Planning Commissions
The North Coast Regional District is recruiting members for both of its Advisory Planning Commissions.
Moresby Island Advisory Planning Commission
The Moresby Island Advisory Planning Commission (MIAPC) is empowered to advise the Board or their respective Director on all matters referred to them by the Board or their Director, respecting land use, the preparation and adoption of a community plan, or a rural land use bylaw, or a proposed bylaw or permit, that may be enacted or issued under Part 26 of the Local Government Act.
- MIAPC is seeking up to five (5) members.
To apply to the MIAPC, please submit a letter of interest, including any relevant background information, before Friday, March 14, 2025 to Howard Tsang, Corporate Officer at NCRD: corporateofficer@ncrdbc.com.

Graham Island Advisory Planning Commission
The Graham Island Advisory Planning Commission (GIAPC) is empowered to advise the Board or their respective Director on all matters referred to them by the Board or their Director, respecting land use, the preparation and adoption of a community plan, or a rural land use bylaw, or a proposed bylaw or permit, that may be enacted or issued under Part 26 of the Local Government Act.
- GIAPC is seeking up to three (3) members.
